Magh Purnima – A sacred dip on Magh Purnima unlocks the blessing

Magh Purnima 2026 is considered extremely sacred for bathing in the holy Ganga. It is believed that if one is unable to bathe throughout the entire month of Magh, bathing on Magh Purnima alone grants the full spiritual merit of the month. On this day, the auspicious Ravi Pushyamrit Yoga is formed, multiplying the benefits of virtuous deeds. Scriptures state that all rivers and water bodies become as pure as Ganga water on this day.
